Overview:
The 27th Annual New Zealand Phylogenomics Meeting is a conference at the interface of mathematics, computer science, statistics, and biology in the study of phylogenetics, genome analysis and molecular evolution. In 2024, the meeting will again be held on Waiheke Island, a short ferry trip away from Auckland City. The venue will be available Tuesday morning (13th) through to Friday midday (16th). We expect talks to start Tuesday (late) morning  and end by lunchtime on Friday.

Registration:
is now closed

For postgraduate students who have limited funding, we may be able to partially fund accommodation. If you would like to be considered, please email Simone Linz after registration (we may then ask for more details).

Accommodation:
We recommend that you book early since February is a busy time for Waiheke Island. Popular websites that list holiday houses for rent are, for example, Bookabach and Airbnb. There are limited apartment options at the conference venue. These are on hold until November 13 and can be booked directly by emailing the Waiheke Island Resort (reservations@thewaihekegroup.co.nz).

Sponsorship:
We gratefully acknowledge financial support from the School of Biological Sciences, the School of Computer Science, and the Faculty of Science at the University of Auckland.
